Ecclesiastes 9:11 I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.
One month later and she is here with the Happy New year story! She’s unbelievable right? Sorry for the delayed wishes guys, you still are so dear to me. At least I gave you a whole month for a demo,LOL. I hope you are enjoying the 2017 feel. Share some of your experiences so far on the comments section. I have had so much going on on my end I couldn’t wait to share! I promise you will understand why I haven’t been here in such a long time.
To take you back to late last year, I finished with school. That happened in December, Christmas never felt that good! You can imagine the relieve that comes at the finishing line after 16 years of books! It is not fair that we invest so much time of our life in education. I didn’t say you shouldn’t love school, but for me that’s too much time! Now to building on the life I have always wanted. I know people say it is tough out in the world, but am trusting God to walk this walk with me.
This year looks so hopeful to me it almost blinds me. The Lord has been faithful in so many ways. When He tells us to present our requests to Him He means to fulfill every single bit of them. I have tasted of the Lord and I know that nothing is impossible to Him. Dare to believe!
I had mentioned I got shortlisted as a Blaze BYOB contestant mid last year? Here is a link to my back story for more details, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXfXQTThfLQ Well the competition is on. 12 contestants, grand price is 5million Kenya shillings. The Blaze network seeks to promote young entrepreneurs in their business ventures. I reported to the academy early January; been here for more than a month now! I am loving the experience and I intend to share every bit of it with you. The show airs on local TV, KTN 8PM every Monday.
There is no better way to kick start my life after campus than this. I am so grateful to God for a chance to inspire my generation. A quick take through on what happens every week. A task is outlined every week, then we are divided into two teams. The teams have 48hrs to complete the outlined task. The winning team gets to be “safe” but the losing team loses one of their members. If you have watched The Apprentice the concept is the same. One of us has already left, the first episode aired last week.
My review on week one’s task: Lesson of the week is on Business Vision. Producing a song and planning a listening party sounded fun and easy until we came to the ground work! Dealing with an artist is hard, especially if you get one who has the wrong attitude. My team wasn’t lucky on this one, but we got the best team leader in the whole wide world. Keith was amazing! If you get the vision right and follow through with determination till the end, then you’ll succeed in your venture. Time is not a limit! We had 48hours and we made it happen. Set up out that comfort zone and embrace growth!
Watch out for episode two, I will be playing team leader! #TEAMSUE
I almost forgot, Happy Valentines to the love birds…
